🕌 Hastimom (Hazrati Imam) Complex — The Religious and Historical Center of Tashkent

The Hazrati Imam Complex (popularly known as Hastimom) is one of the most important historical and religious landmarks in Tashkent. It is located in the old part of the city.

The complex is associated with the famous scholar and Islamic jurist Abu Bakr Muhammad Kaffal Shoshi, who lived in the 10th century. He is considered one of the founders of Islamic studies in Tashkent.

The Hazrati Imam Complex consists of several historical buildings:

  • Kaffal Shoshi Mausoleum

  • Barakhan Madrasa (16th century)

  • Tilla Shaykh Mosque

  • Muyi Muborak Madrasa

The most famous treasure of the complex is the Uthman Quran, one of the oldest Quran manuscripts in the world.
